Iranian massage therapists, who participated for the first time in a world championship last year in Turkey, won the second division in Denmark international championships.
The world championship in massage was held in Denmark, and 23 countries participated among them Thailand won the first, Iran the second, and Australia the third division.
Pantea Zeimaran, a veteran in spa and tourism explained:” In recent years, the capabilities of massage and spa in Iran was unknown to the world.” She added:” But last year, Golden Rama Spa in partnership with International Massage Association, held a world massage tournament in Turkey. The so-called championship pave the way for Iranian massage therapists to show their capabilities and achievements to the world.”
Last year, in world massage championships which were held in Antalya, Turkey, Soheila Mokhtari, Arezoo Alayie, Sahar Aliparast, Fatemeh Mohsenkhah, Fatemeh Akbari, Masoud Baniamerian, Ahmad Azimi Garousi, Hasan Ghoorchian, Saeed Kashani, and Alireza Kavan won the gold medal, and finally, Masoud Baniamerian, Farzad Attarzadeh, Mojtaba Pahlevannejad, and Soheyla Mokhtari could participate in World Massage Competitions in Denmark.
Nowadays, massage is used to mitigate macular pain, enhance blood circulation, decrease stress level, and create joy and tranquility.
