The idea of holding an event including specialized exhibitions and meetings in the field of capital market and introducing investment with all financial, monetary aspects, and legislative institutions, brokers, investors and investees, had been occupied the author during cooperation with all organizations and institutions related to the important factors which are mentioned above.
An organized event should be held in a suitable atmosphere and with an aim to accomplishing desirable achievements to review and analyze the opportunities and challenges of the economy in macro areas and present indeed capacities and capabilities by the private sector, independent of government organizations and institutions and with the participation of all key stakeholders in the country’s economic development ecosystem in the public and private sectors,
In 2013, the opportunity was provided to implement this idea based on the requirements of those days of the country’s economy.
Holding numerous meetings with officials and stakeholders in various sectors of the capital market, investment trustees and securing their support had been lasting for more than 6 months, so it led to the certainty of holding the event and choosing the venue -Island Kish- due to having a suitable infrastructure and a quiet environment.
Along the way, there were many experts and proficient who forbade us from taking such action out of compassion and also in return, the dignitaries who not only were encouraging us to proceed the event, but also were supporting us during different steps.
Finally, the First Exhibition of Presenting Iran’s Investment Opportunities and International Exhibition on Exchange, Banking, Insurance and Privatization were held in September 2014.
Although the first event was not without usual flaws in the firsts, the considerable satisfaction of the participants and also receiving abundant incentive feedbacks were the results of the event which made us more determined to obviate all of those and reach our goals out as we had invested our large part of material and spiritual resources.
Determining the permanent date of the event between October and November of each year, choosing the title of the event with the branded and abbreviated name of KishINVEX® in cooperation with an international consultant, creating a visual identity for the brand and event, planning to prepare the event symbol in collaboration with one of the most eminent artists in the country, visiting plenty of similar and reputable international events and modeling inspired samples, extensive cooperation with the public and private sectors to increase the quality of content presented in specialized meetings, the utilizing of expert consultants in domestic and international press information, and the implementation of legal and trademark registration measures, were only a small part of the measures taken in the following years in order to surpass organizing the KishINVEX® event.
In the following years, KishINVEX® event was settled as a place to present expert discussions, review economic opportunities and challenges of the country, drawing future horizons and synergy of different sectors by many public and private institutions, organizations and companies. Since the third period of the event, lack of space in the exhibition and specialized meetings halls has always become one of the problems of event headquarters due to the growth of demand.
The fifth year of the KishINVEX® event as a turning point was celebrated with the wide participation of officials and economic actors. Although the sixth KishINVEX® and the disorders of November 2019 happened simultaneously and despite all the problems such as internet connection, telephone antenna, flight disruption and the absence of some high-ranking officials, the event took place desirably and proofed its resilience and consistency.
Unfortunately, the result of the outbreak of Covid-19 in the world and in Iran was the closure of all exhibitions and events, and needless to say the KishINVEX®2020. Nevertheless, the event headquarters decided to prepare the forthcoming report, including messages, comments, economic reports and analysis of officials and stakeholders, and advertisements of a number of regular attendees of the KishINVEX® to fulfil our ambition to visit the incomplete event. With the end of the problems and the support and cooperation of all economic actors in the country, we hope to host you once again, with the full establishment of the new government to re-examine and review the economic opportunities and challenges of the country. The newest version of the KishINVEX®2021 is going to be hosted by the mesmerizing Kish Island from 29th November to 2nd December 2021 (with a slight change in the event calendar due to the widespread vaccination by then).
KishINVEX® has been able to become a place for gathering and consensus of Iran’s economic elites and play a role in improving trends and procedures to draw new horizons of success in the fast-paced and competitive world.
At the end, I am sincerely grateful to all the professors, experts and those involved in the economic of the country in the Supreme Council of Free and Special Economic Zones, Kish Free Zone Organization, Ministry of Economic Affairs and Finance, Exchange and Securities Organization and subsidiaries, Investment Organization and Iran Economic and Technical Assistance, Central Insurance of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Central Bank of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Vice President for Science and Technology, Cultural Heritage, Tourism and Handicrafts Organization, Ministry of Mining Industry and Trade, Iran Chamber of Commerce and Mining and Agriculture, Provincial Investment Headquarters, The Ministry of Foreign Affairs, banks, insurance companies, professors and economists, large private and public sector companies, media activists and my colleagues in Baharan Tadbir Kish Company, to accompany us in the progress of the KishINVEX® event.
